The winning painting “The scream – if Munch was in quarantine” exposed at the “Biennale di Genova” from June 19th till July 3rd

Coming out of a dark situation.
It is a project that was born during and after the world lockdown where the artist felt a strong fusion between man and nature.
Not been able to enter restaurants, bars, cultural centers and etc., nature and being outside became our daily routine trying to escape our homes.
Claudio wanted to represent the harmony between these two subjects where something is still tormenting us but in a positive way, with the rebirth of nature itself.
So using the colors of nature as if we are waking up from a very dark winter and very dark situation.
For the realization of Restricted Spring Claudio collaborated with Chris from @Artemadore.

RESTRICTED SPRING – fiorire da una situazione buia.
Il progetto vede come protagonista una collezione di opere nate durante e il lockdown , con la ferma volontà di voler rappresentare una fusione tra l’uomo e la natura; rapporto quest’ultimo approfondito ancor di più durante la pandemia.
Privati delle istituzioni culturali, dei bar, ristoranti, di tutti quei luoghi al chiuso che eravamo abituati a visitare nella nostra quotidianità, l’aria aperta e la natura si sono rivelate essere quella linfa vitale da cui trarre forza, energia ed ispirazione e di cui l’essere umano ha sempre un grande bisogno.
Claudio ha dedicato ed incentrato la propria ricerca artistica attorno al concetto dell’armonia tra queste due componenti rappresentando – per contrasto e sovrapposizione – qualcosa che ancora ci tormenta “positivamente” come con il cominciare della primavera dove tutta la natura si risveglia e fiorisce regalando bellissimi colori, vivaci e caldi, dopo un cupo e freddo inverno.
